The Rock Wall is a literary zine run by the Creative Arts club at SDSCPA. This is our site!

Staff

Submit

The Rock Wall publishes monthly, both physically and digitally. We accept submissions from any current SDSCPA student or staff member, regardless of age or major. We do have a couple requirements, though:

• Your work cannot be plagiarized or made with AI. AI has its place, but as far as we're concerned, that's not in the arts.
• No excessive profanity--- this will be determined on a case by case basis, but try to keep it under five.
• On a similar note, avoid using derogatory language like slurs. In general, try to keep your work appropriate for a middle-high school audience.
• If you're discussing someone at school, change their name.
• Try to keep to proper grammar and mechanics--- that means avoid typos and grammar mistakes. Spellcheckers exist for a reason! We'll be fixing minor issues as we put your work into the zine, but excessive issues make us less likely to choose it.
• We have a word count! It's not decided right now, but we're working on it.
• We're looking for original, interesting work: avoid cliches when you can. This isn't a hard-and-fast rule, just something to think about as you write.
